The term "rationality" refers to the ability to act given beliefs and the means to achieve them. An agent is anything that perceives and acts to achieve a desired result. Although this view is popular for studying artificial intelligence, it has its limitations. In this book, I will briefly outline some of my main points regarding the Logicist approach for artificial intelligence.

The probabilistic approach to artificial Intelligence has many implications. Machine learning algorithms are based on a statistical model to make their decisions. However, the probabilistic approach offers additional insights and benefits. A probabilistic approach to artificial intelligence is a normative model that has many conceptual advantages over alternative models.
